Dr. Murray Sabrin, the Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, has been making the media rounds in New Jersey following his appearance at the Libertarian national convention in New Orleans earlier this month.
Sabrin, an author and professor of finance at Ramapo College, was interviewed on July 6 on the “Power and Politics” television show on News 12 New Jersey. Guest host Katie Kyros asked him about national spending and the deficit, foreign policy, and his plan to eliminate welfare programs by granting a 100 percent tax credit for donations to charities and nonprofit organizations.
In probing his stance on the second amendment, Kyros also pointed to Sabrin’s parents’ having survived the Holocaust, a legacy which has lent him an intimate grasp of the significance of America’s foundation in individual freedom.
