The LNC will have an Executive Committee Meeting on August 9, 2026, at 7pm ET. Advance registration is required at least one hour before the meeting.
Agenda Items:
- Encumber $40,000 from the 2026 Budget line-item Legal Proactive for the New Mexico trademark litigation, with funds restricted to paying only the current legal bills and those funds necessary for the competition of mediation and settlement of the matter.
- Encumber $40,000 from the 2026 Budget line-item Legal Proactive for the McArdle litigation.
- Approve the draft complaint prepared by counsel and authorize the Chair to initiate civil litigation against the former Chair Angela McArdle by filing the complaint and taking such actions as are reasonably necessary to prosecute the matter on behalf of the organization in accordance with LNC Policy Manual Section 1.06 2) Authorization & Management of Lawsuits.
