William Brown is a Libertarian candidate for California State Senate District 12, a licensed clinical social worker, Marine Corps veteran, and small business owner. With advanced degrees in social work and business administration, and ongoing doctoral training, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to public service.

Brown’s professional background centers on mental health care within complex systems, where he has worked directly with underserved and high-risk populations. His experience has reinforced a commitment to individual liberty, personal responsibility, and reducing bureaucratic barriers that limit opportunity.

His campaign focuses on protecting constitutional rights, expanding economic freedom, and supporting small businesses, the backbone of the Central Valley economy, by reducing regulatory burdens and promoting reinvestment and job creation. Brown is running to offer a principled, pragmatic alternative to partisan politics and to advocate for policies that prioritize people over institutions.
