Thomas Krausch
Candidate Bio
My name is Thomas Krausch and I am running as candidate for your Presiding Commissioner for Franklin County Missouri.
I have been a lifelong resident of Villa Ridge. Grew up here with roots among the farming community, blue collar workforce, and the entrepreneurial spirit. I am currently self-employed in the skilled trades and consulting sectors performing work for many residents and businesses within our County and surrounding areas.
My Education includes attending college at South Puget Sound Community College and Pierce College studying Business Management and Accounting, Drafting, and Archeology. Additional Military training includes Leadership Development Courses, Hazmat, CBRN, and Administration.
Experience includes General / Operations / Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Development.
1- I will first and foremost, cease and desist any and all personal business and or company dealings that are for profit upon assuming any representation for Franklin County. I serve you, no one else including myself.
2- I will absolutely be transparent with every aspect of county business and office, absolutely no private NDAs, no under the table business, and will hold those accountable for any violation thereof to include myself.
3- I will be available to everyone when there are complaints or needs to be addressed, regardless of demographic background. We absolutely need to continue what is good, change what is bad, and continue to better our county.
4- I will be fair and impartial to all aspects of county business, legislation, and to you all. Voting will determined on what is beneficial to county residents and ensure any or all risks have been addressed with controlled mitigations implemented through public and expert input.
5- I will continue the path of a balanced and responsible budgeting and seek state or federal funding before taking any measures towards tax increases and ensure every taxpayer dollar is utilized to the fullest extent with zero use or lose policy.
6- I will address infrastructure and utility needs through respective districts and seek state or federal incentives to continue maintenance and improvements with emphasis on areas of higher incidents in a manner that facilitates public safety, economic development, and commerce.
7- I will work for our law enforcement and first responders to address any needs, resources, tools, and channels so they can effectively manage public safety in an efficient manner. When life is on the line, they must have the components to save life. When Law and order are not existent, we lose society and structure.
8- I will push for a way to extend out senior tax freezes beyond a year to year basis. They have given their fair share and more to society, let us return the favor to them.
9- I will foster an economy of free market, steady/sustainable growth, and will absolutely support any measures that prioritizes our local farms and businesses so they in turn can better support our workforce.
10- I will absolutely look into EPA, state, or federal funding to address Generally Closed Landfill and other sites within our county so that our home can be beautiful for generations to come. There are cost effective remediation processes that will be implemented to dilute toxic materials naturally. Preservation and maintaining of natural resources will be paramount in the years ahead.
11- I will foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and unity among our county employees and departments with emphasis on professional and team development. Through motivation and direction, we will operate in a manner that serves you with purpose.
12- I am a hard no on Hyperscaled Data Centers that serve no purpose other than subscriptions. Data Centers that boost Broadband and Communication Networks do not involve no more than 10 acres of space, not 600.
13- Although I am not perfect nor experienced in politics on a county level, it will be made my sole duty in life to give you 100% effort and be but a humble servant for Franklin County residents, businesses, and employees.
I am a firm believer in free and self-governance with absolute servitude only to the people for all representatives in any capacity of office. That all elected representatives must serve no other master, but the unified and combined will of the people they represent. That the framework for our God given right and liberty is set forth by the constitutional foundation, laws, and free principles of the founders of this great republic. That at all times transparency and accountability in conjunction with moral fairness and impartiality are key to maintaining good public faith and trust for those they elect to serve. That teamwork through purpose, motivation, and direction in conjunction with our diverse nonpartisan/partisan expertise, skills, and input we can come to perfect solution and vision for a better future and greater Franklin County together.
