Candidate Bio

Steven Borella is a Libertarian candidate for Clark County Recorder in Nevada. He is running to bring fresh leadership, better public access, stronger privacy protections, and modernized services to the Recorder’s Office.

Steven’s background includes years of experience in sales, management, customer service, solar, telecommunications, and professional poker, where he developed discipline, strategic thinking, and decision-making under pressure.

His campaign is focused on making the Recorder’s Office easier for everyday residents to use, expanding public awareness of recording notification services, and working to expand those notifications to include text alerts so residents can be notified faster when documents are recorded under their name or property. He also supports improving efficiency, protecting residents from unnecessary data exposure, and ensuring that public records remain accessible, accurate, and transparent.

Steven believes government offices should serve the people first. His campaign message is simple: “It’s the People’s Records.”
