Candidate Bio

Steve Dodge brings a lifetime of musical achievement, teaching, and performance to the campaign trail. His work has taken him from school band at age 10 to the Ohio Theatre Symphony, from street performances in Daytona Beach to Nashville studio sessions, and from local stages to Ohio Stadium. He has performed in venues ranging from recital halls and TV studios to parades and clubhouses, and has shared the stage with Grammy winners and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists. Steve holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in percussion performance from The Ohio State University and has spent more than 20 years as a university faculty member, teaching thousands of students. His campaign reflects the same discipline, energy, and commitment that have defined his career.
