Candidate Bio

Ross is currently in a 1 vs 1 race againt a democrat who is not an incumbent. Over the past few years Ross has built a coalition that stretch across party lines and is bringing that coalition to bear on this race. But needs donations from Libertarians and allies across the country to help him get across the finish becoming the first elected Libertarian to the state house in CO and growing the county and state affiliates along with him.

Ross is a software developer and data analyst with a background in physical science. He builds civic data tools that make public information (campaign finance, voting records, public meetings) easier for ordinary people to find and understand. That work is the same instinct behind this campaign: government should be transparent to the people who pay for it.

He currently serves as the chair of the Jefferson County CO affiliate and serves as the legislative director on the state board.

A resident of Wheat Ridge, CO Ross has watched HD23 deal with the same problems most of Colorado is dealing with: housing that’s gotten out of reach, property tax bills climbing on flat values, schools tightening their belts, corridor projects that change daily life without much explanation. He’s running because the people closest to those problems deserve a representative who’ll be straight about what the legislature can fix, what it can’t, and what it broke in the first place.
