Norm Olse

Candidate Bio

Born and raised in Brooklyn, I earned my BS in Physics from
Union College (NY) in 1967, launching a fulfilling 45-year
career as a software developer. After spending five years
traveling the country as a product support engineer, I settled
in the place I loved most: Colorado.

My path wasn’t without its hurdles. Guided by the strong moral
values and a solid work ethic I inherited from my parents, I
persevered through two early business failures before building a
successful enterprise that thrived in a competitive market for
25 years – ultimately selling to a very satisfied customer.

Today, while I’m officially retired, I still love writing
software in between skiing, golfing, hiking, camping, spending
time with my two children, and being a proud grandfather to
seven.

I’ve lived the American Dream, and I want to ensure that
every child – yours, mine, and all others – has the
same opportunity to reach their full potential. As your
representative, I will work hard to keep that dream alive for
the generations to come.
