Candidate Bio

Justin “Tonto” Gonzales is a devoted member of law enforcement in McLennan County, having worked and lived the majority of his life in Precinct 3. For the past 11 years, he has proudly served and protected the very community he now seeks to represent—a calling that comes naturally to him.
Born and raised in Waco, Texas, Justin was raised by parents who embodied the American dream through hard work and service to others. He grew up in a household where community involvement and strong moral character were not just encouraged-they were expected.
His mother dedicated over 30 years to Waco ISD. From her, Justin learned the importance of doing what is right and the lasting impact of investing in future generations. His father, a hardworking blue-collar man at TYMCO Street Sweeper Manufacturing, instilled in him the value of discipline, sacrifice, and earning everything through hard work-lessons Justin carries with him every day.
Through his career in law enforcement, Justin has been on the front lines-building relationships, responding in critical moments, and always putting public safety first. He believes in accountability, transparency, and strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community.
Justin is running for Constable to bring experienced, community-focused leadership to Precinct 3. His mission is clear: serve with integrity, protect with purpose, and lead with honor.
