Candidate Bio

Life, Liberty & Carolina Pulled Pork
I’ve always been politically aware, but I stayed on the sidelines for years. That changed when I entered my 40s and the government tried to lock everyone down during the pandemic. I decided I could no longer sit back and watch.
I’m a lifelong Libertarian. I discovered the party in 1996 and have proudly watched it grow. In 2020, when I saw seats on the ballot with no Libertarian option, I stepped up to become that choice. Since then, I’ve spent years thinking deeply about the major problems facing North Carolina in the 21st century. I’ve attended many Wednesday nights at the Wake County Libertarian Party meetings, listening to real problems and discussing practical solutions for the people I hope to represent.
I’m no longer satisfied with simply being an option on the ballot — I’m ready to fight for North Carolina in the General Assembly as your State Senator from District 16. I want to be a strong voice for the people of Wake County.
I’m asking Wake County voters to give me that chance.
