Jennifer Ann Long
Candidate Bio
Jennifer Long is the Libertarian candidate for Michigan House of Representatives, District 77. She brings 10 years of healthcare experience, a law degree from Western Michigan Cooley Law School, and nearly five years of service on the Lansing Township Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board.
Jennifer has also spent years involved in homeless outreach, working directly with individuals and families in need and gaining firsthand insight into the challenges facing the community.
She believes real leadership means listening to different perspectives, finding practical solutions, and supporting good ideas no matter where they come from. Jennifer believes the role of government should be limited to protecting individual rights, maintaining essential public services, and ensuring fair and consistent laws—not micromanaging the daily lives of citizens.
Jennifer is running to bring accountability to Lansing, increase transparency in government, and return decision-making power closer to local communities and the people they serve.
