Candidate Bio

Jarrett T. Ksenak is an Indiana attorney and candidate for Morgan County Superior Court 1 Judge. Admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2013, Jarrett has spent his legal career representing individuals and families in criminal cases, family law matters, civil litigation, guardianships, adoptions, juvenile matters, CHINS proceedings, small claims, and trial work.

Jarrett has also served Morgan County as a public defender, giving him substantial experience in the courtroom and a firsthand understanding of how court decisions affect people’s lives, families, businesses, and futures. His practice has required him to appear regularly before local courts and handle the types of issues that demand preparation, fairness, judgment, and respect for constitutional rights.

As part of the judicial branch, a judge’s function is distinct from legislative or executive office. Courts do not create policy or advance party platforms. They apply the law to the facts of each case, protect constitutional rights, and ensure that every person who appears before the court is treated fairly and heard with respect. If elected, Jarrett’s responsibility would be to the Constitution, the law, the facts of each case, and the people of Morgan County.

Outside the courtroom, Jarrett is a husband, father of two daughters, business owner, and active member of the Morgan County community. He is running to give voters a qualified choice for Morgan County Superior Court 1 and to bring relevant courtroom experience, fairness, and accountability to the bench.
