Candidate Bio
Doug Mangeris is the Libertarian nominee for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District. He is a builder, not a politician.
Doug is a commercial construction superintendent with more than $230 million in completed projects across Colorado. Before construction, he spent four years on drilling rigs in upstream oil and gas, earning his master driller certification. He has spent his career doing work where the schedule is real, the budget is real, and nobody gets paid for excuses.
He serves as Vice President of the Habitat for Humanity of Loveland board, where he helps put working families into homes they own. He is a licensed general contractor, a federal firearms licensee, a father, and a Loveland resident.
Doug founded CheckYourRepresentative.com, a civic accountability platform that puts voting records and public data in front of the people who pay for them. He believes government should be as transparent to citizens as citizens are forced to be to government.
He is running to cut federal spending, end warrantless surveillance, defend the Second Amendment without compromise, and return decisions to the people and communities who live with the results.
