Candidate Bio

My name is Donald Luke Vermillion I am a U.S. Army veteran, father, and lifelong advocate for those who have served. After enlisting following high school, I faced adversity (including homelessness in Newark during 9/11) that shaped his commitment to supporting veterans and working families. In 2016, I stood with fellow veterans providing security at Standing Rock, demonstrating his dedication to protecting communities and honoring service.
