Candidate Bio

I’m Brian Lambert, a husband, father of three, and a 20-year United States Navy veteran running to represent Florida’s 14th Congressional District in Congress as the Libertarian candidate.

I was born in Whigham, Georgia, and dedicated two decades of my life to serving our country in the United States Navy. After retiring from military service, I became a stay-at-home father, believing that serving my family was every bit as important as serving my country. I’ve also remained active in my community through volunteer work, youth sports, motorcycle safety instruction, and disaster relief efforts.

I’m running for Congress because I believe government exists to protect the rights and freedoms of the American people—not to manage their lives. My campaign is built on the principles of fiscal responsibility, constitutional government, individual liberty, and accountability to the people.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University and am continuing my education at Sonoran Desert Institute. My wife, Monica, and I are proud to call the Tampa area home, where we’re raising our three children.

I believe our country works best when government is limited, accountable, and faithful to the Constitution. That’s why I’m running—to help leave the next generation a freer, stronger America than the one we inherited.

Freedom isn’t Left or Right. It’s American.
