Candidate Bio

Brian is a South Carolina libertarian activist, Navy veteran, homeschool parent, and political commentator dedicated to advancing the principles of individual liberty and limited government.

He served nine years in the United States Navy before transitioning to a career in the private sector as a claims adjuster. Like many libertarians, Brian didn’t arrive at his views overnight. His political transformation began during the Ron Paul movement, when he started questioning the growing size of government, endless deficit spending, and the bipartisan habit of promising freedom while expanding control.

Today, Brian is active in the South Carolina Libertarian Party and produces regular political and economic commentary focused on government spending, sound money, and personal responsibility. Through his social media platforms, he works to explain complex policy issues in plain language—and to challenge the idea that bigger government is the answer to every problem.

At home, Brian is a dedicated husband and father who homeschools his son and believes strongly in raising independent thinkers who understand both their rights and their responsibilities. He is committed to helping build a future where government is limited, freedom is protected, and individuals—not bureaucracies—are trusted to make decisions about their own lives.
