Brennan N. Lippert
Candidate Bio
Brennan is a Frankfort local, graduating there from Western Hills High School in 2018. Brennan received his Associate in Science from Bluegrass Community and Technical College in 2023, and his Bachelor’s of Science in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University in 2025. He is now pursuing a doctorate education in Chiropractic.
Brennan has served his community since 2021 as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician in a variety of emergency response and occupational health roles, as well as opening a small business, Kentucky Digital Notary Services, providing remote online notary services to clients across the Commonwealth. He is also a very popular local wedding officiant, providing affordable and faith driven ceremonies since 2024.
Brennan is looking to make great change in his community; choosing to file for City Commission, a non-partisan office, with the hope to make the greatest impact at the local level.
Major points of improvement he would like to see in his community include removing expensive and bureaucratic roadblocks that hamper small businesses; such as the repeal of expensive and redundant business licensing and tax laws; to help make life more affordable for locals during a period rampant inflation and price gouging by freezing or repealing property and payroll taxes; to support local farm freedom and repeal stringent laws hampering the free sale and production of local agricultural products; to decriminalize marijuana possession broadly in a day and age where medical marijuana is already recognized by the state as a safe and effective medicine; support medical freedoms at the local level such as vocal support for the fluoride choice bill, HB103; and most importantly a massive project of government accountability and oversight, including bans on use of automatic license plate readers (flock, etc.) and the creation of public ledgers that track the use of all public funds at every level. He also vocally supports reducing redundant and wasteful government spending and discoordination by merging the overlapping administrations of city and county; which has great precedent, being done successfully in communities such as Lexington.
Brennan was unanimously endorsed by the Libertarian Party of Kentucky for the role, during their State Convention in 2025. He is running the race against 4 entrenched incumbents, 3 endorsed by the Democratic Party and one by the Republican party. He runs also against two other challengers, both running as independents.
