Brenden Johnson

Candidate Bio

I’ve lived in Lucas County for 20 years. I spent my entire life prior making efforts to effect change in any small way that I could in various community, personal, and religious organizations.

I have little political experience, and I never considered myself a politician. I saw a need for change and, while it took some time and persuasion from concerned people to do it, decided that it’s time to truly involve myself in making Lucas County a better place to work, live, and raise a family.

From becoming the third JROTC cadet in 30 years to reach officer’s rank in my second year, to leadership in my church’s youth group, various board positions, and serving as Vice President and then President of my daughter’s preschool parent board, my journey in leadership has been a long one.

I’ve lived in Lucas County for 20 years. I ran a business for 12 years and am in process of opening a new one. I’m raising a child here. As your County Commissioner, I’ll bring the dedication, commitment and hard work we need to make things better.
