Candidate Bio

Brandon Crabill is a proud native of Bronson, Michigan, running for State Senate in District 28. He brings a blend of education, public service, and private sector experience to his campaign, rooted in a commitment to practical solutions for Michigan families.

Brandon is a graduate of Michigan State University and earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He serves on the Lansing Township Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board, where he works on local economic development and community improvement initiatives. As a small business owner, he understands firsthand the challenges facing job creators and working families across Michigan. He also brings years of experience in outreach and service work with the local homeless population, focusing on dignity, stability, and long-term solutions.

Brandon’s campaign is centered on the core issues facing residents of Michigan Senate District 28, including rising cost of living and inflation, affordable housing and property taxes, improving local roads and infrastructure, expanding access to quality education and workforce training, strengthening small businesses and rural economies, and addressing public safety and substance abuse challenges while supporting community-based solutions. Voters in the district consistently express concern about affordability, economic opportunity, government accountability, and ensuring that rural and small-town communities are not left behind in state policy decisions.
