From the Libertarian Party of Indiana
Over 400 Hoosiers gathered in the Indiana Statehouse on the afternoon of March 25, 2009 to demand their elected officials begin governing in a responsible manner. There were a laundry list of important issues that local bloggers, activists, and political figures spoke on. The issues raised included less taxation, governmental transparency, adherence to the Constitution, an end to eminent domain, property tax repeal, and a solution to the CIB quagmire.
The Libertarian Party of Indiana was on hand to support the organizers (http://www.revoltatthestatehouse.blogspot.com) of the event, and to explain the libertarian philosophy. Executive Director Chris Spangle was featured on WISH-TV 8 in a news story on the event.
