Timothy C. Godwin is a Libertarian candidate for Ohio House District 97, committed to restoring individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and accountable government. A resident of southeastern Ohio, Godwin is focused on advancing policies that reduce government overreach, protect constitutional rights, and empower citizens to make their own decisions without unnecessary interference.

Godwin’s platform emphasizes meaningful tax reform, including addressing the burden of property taxes, as well as increasing transparency and accountability among elected officials and law enforcement. He is a strong advocate for protecting Second Amendment rights and believes that government should serve the people—not control them.

In addition to his focus on limited government, Godwin is passionate about education reform, supporting alternatives that allow students to succeed without being forced into lifelong debt before starting their careers. He believes Ohio families deserve greater choice and flexibility in education.
