Candidate Bio

Joseph Lehman is a lifelong Oregonian forged by hard work, not politics. Raised working on farms and as a ranch hand, he learned early that nothing is handed to you and everything is earned. That grit built a blue collar work ethic rooted in personal responsibility, self reliance, and results. Those values still drive him today.

Lehman is a working class family man who started a family young and stepped up to provide. While others chose classrooms, he chose responsibility. He built his life through real world experience, not theory. He knows what it means to work long hours, carry real burdens, and live with the consequences of decisions made in Washington. He represents the millions of Americans who feel ignored, overtaxed, and pushed aside by a political class that has lost touch.

He is not a career politician. He is a fighter for liberty.

Lehman has been actively engaged in defending civil liberties, protecting constitutional rights, and pushing back against government overreach. He stands firmly for the Constitution and believes it must be defended, upheld, and followed as written. Not twisted. Not ignored.

He is running to end foreign influence in American politics and put the interests of the American people first. He believes our government should serve its citizens, not outside governments, corporations, or special interests.

Lehman is a strong advocate for a non interventionist foreign policy. He believes America should lead by example, not by force. Endless wars, foreign entanglements, and nation building have cost American lives, wasted trillions, and made us less free at home. He will fight to bring that era to an end.

As a Libertarian, Lehman stands for limited government, individual freedom, and true accountability. He believes in cutting spending, reducing the size and power of the federal government, and restoring authority back to the people and the states. He supports free markets, the right to keep what you earn, and the freedom to live your life without constant interference.

He represents the politically homeless. The workers. The builders. The people who believe in freedom but feel like no one in Washington speaks for them.
