Wisconsin U.S. Senate Candidate Phil Anderson will be live streaming his responses to the U.S. Senate debate on Tuesday, October 18, from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Anderson’s responses will be streamed live on his campaign Facebook page, www.facebook.com/
Anderson was not invited to the debate. According to a WISN-TV representative, which is co-sponsoring the debate with Marquette University Law School, the criteria for inclusion in the debates is for parties to receive more than 10% of the vote in previous elections, virtually assuring that a challenger to the two old parties cannot participate.
“We will answer the questions, just as if I was there at the podium,” said Anderson. “If the mainstream media won’t give us the chance to participate, we will take our views on the issues directly to the public.”
“On too many issues, Feingold and Johnson are just two sides to the same coin,” he said. “Both endorse continued overseas intervention, neither will end the War on Drugs, and neither will seriously address out of control federal spending.”
“As a member of the Libertarian Party, I represent a commitment to real constitutional principles and a genuine advocacy of limited government,” said Anderson.
