When Libertarians visiting the LP.org website were asked to identify the most important impact of Libertarian candidates running for office, forty percent of the 1,186 respondents said “all or most” of the choices listed are important.
Of the individual reasons listed, the most votes went to, “Turning on voters to Libertarian solutions and their benefits” (17%) followed by “Getting Libertarians elected who remove or reduce excess government and advance freedom” (13%) and “Giving voters a choice to vote Libertarian” (11%). Four percent voted for “something else” not listed in the choices.
