From an NBC report on an NBC News/Survey Monkey poll:
“Perhaps the most encouraging number for Johnson is that he is winning the pure Independent vote. Among Independent voters who do not lean toward either party, Johnson claims a sizable lead with 31 percent support. Equal shares break for Clinton (24 percent) and Trump (24 percent).”
Libertarian National Committee Chair Nicholas Sarwark said of Johnson’s strong showing in this group, “The NBC polls demonstrates why the Commission on Presidential Debates needs to reverse its decision and include Gov Johnson in all debates. This important group of American voters, which favors him, needs to be represented.”
