Libertarian presidential and vice presidential nominees Gary Johnson and Bill Weld are on the ballot in Minnesota, as the Secretary of State’s office confirmed the validity of the petitions on August 24.
If Governor Johnson receives at least 5% of the vote in Minnesota this November, the Minnesota LP will become a recognized party for the first time in its history, according to Richard Winger, editor and publisher of Ballot Access News.
Johnson and Weld are now on the ballot in 43 states, plus D.C.
