A group of Colorado Springs Republicans endorsed Lily Tang Williams, the Libertarian candidate running in Colorado’s U.S. Senate race on April 27.
“It doesn’t matter what the political party is. It matters that the person stands for self-governance, limited government, and for freedom,” Glasgow, told The Colorado Independent. “We are Republicans, but there hasn’t been a whole lot of choice”, said the group’s chair, Sheryl Glasgow.
“They’re fed up,” Ms. Williams said of Colorado Republicans who support her. “I’m honored to have their endorsement. I do believe my freedom message is universal. It’s not partisan.”
