The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin’s Executive Meeting has been confirmed for Saturday, October 1st from 12:00 noon to 3pm at the Dalles House Restaurant -French Room – in St. Croix Falls, WI, located near the off ramp of US Highway 8 & WI State Highway 35 South. This event is being held the same weekend of the St. Croix Falls Autumn Fest event.
Other activities will include activist training 8am-11am in downtown St. Croix Falls that will include field training at the site of Autumn Fest as well as a multi-state Libertarian Party Midwest Region “Mini-Congress” 3pm-6pm inside the French Room of the Dalles House Restaurant – each state is welcome to send delegates.
While the “Mini-Congress” meeting will include members of the Libertarian Party from Wisconsin & Minnesota, state parties across the country are welcome to send delegates ($5.00 per person registration for LPWI members with delegate status a $5.00 suggested donation for the public, guests & other invited members – delegate status can be obtained via payment of LPWI state party dues).
“We’re looking at this event as an opportunity to bring new members to the Libertarian Party”, said state chairman Terry Gray. “Now that voters have seen how the current two-party system has failed to serve the financial needs of the country, this is the perfect opportunity for us to show the public that we are the true party that stands for a government which can be operated below our means but within our needs.”
Dinner & cash bar at one’s own cost will take place from 6pm to 10pm. Entertainment will commence at 9pm & end at closing.
